- I am very proud to be a fourth generation member of the Groveville Volunteer Fire Co., joining in 1962. I have lived in Groveville all of my life and been a life long member of the Groveville United Methodist Church.

I had Mrs. Drugan for 2nd grade in 1961-62. I remember she shook the "bad" kids by the shoulders. She was "strict," as we put it then, but I liked her.
I remember a picture of John Glenn cut out of Life magazine pinned up on the bulletin board.
She'd been teaching since the 1930ies, I believe.
